一、课程的性质与任务

《商务英语写作》是英语专业教学计划中专业方向必修课程。它以基础英语、国际贸易、国际金融、国际贸易实务等为先修课程,培养英语专业学生在外经贸领域以英语为交际媒体的、扎实的英语交际能力。

该课程的基本任务是:

1. 掌握商务英语写作的基本原则;

2. 学习和掌握外经贸英语函电等的语言和文体特点;

3. 学习和撰写规范、得体的外经贸英语函电等;

4. 学习和掌握除了外贸函电以外的其他常用的实用商务文体写作等。

商务英语写作的主要研究内容是以外经贸领域、跨文化交际为背景,按其一般交际环节为线索,系统学习各环节的信函写作或协议拟定。商务英语写作属于英文应用写作课程,以英语为交际手段,解决和处理外经贸业务中的实际问题。本课程强调语言能力和商务知识的结合,重视实际写作训练,培养学生借助于案例提高分析问题和解决问题的能力。

二、课程的内容及要求

(一)、商务信函

1、教学内容

(1)本课程的性质、研究对象与方法、目的、任务;

(2)几个基本概念

A、商务信函的语言和文体特点;

B、商务信函的写作原则;

C、商务信函的写作格式;

D、商务信函的写作发展趋势。

2、学习本章的基本要求

(1)了解本课程的性质、研究对象与方法、任务;

(2)掌握学习本课程的几个基础概念;

(3)了解学习和研究外经贸英语函电的意义。

(二)、建立业务关系

1、教学内容

(1)获取商务信息的渠道;

(2)接洽潜在客户的手段;

(3)公司英文简介;

(4)建立业务关系信函的结构;

(5)可以借鉴的有用句型。

2、基本要求

了解在世界范围内获取商务信息的渠道和接洽潜在客户的有效手段,了解建立业务关系信函的结构,熟练掌握该环节的有用句型和有效地介绍自己公司的手段。

(三)、询盘

1、教学内容

(1)询盘概念

(2)询盘信函写作写作原则、基本结构、常用句型;

(3)回复信函的写作写作原则、基本结构、常用句型;

(4)请求中的礼貌问题

2、基本要求

了解询盘的基本概念,询盘和回复信函的写作原则、基本结构和常用句型。(四)、报盘(要约)

(1)买方下订单的格式;

(2)卖方确认订单的格式;

(3)卖方拒绝订单的格式

(1)国际贸易中的主要支付工具;

(2)贸易中的主要付款方式;

了解常见国际贸易中的主要支付工具及其特点、主要付款方式、催款函及回复函的格式。

(八)、信用证的开立和修改

1、教学内容

(1)卖方催证函;

(2)买方通知已经开证;

(3)卖方确认收到信用证;

(4)卖方审证有误通知买方改证;

(5)买方通知已经改证;

(6)买方通知是否接受瑕疵押汇。

2、基本要求

了解并掌握信用证的种类、格式和特点以及开立、修改信用证的步骤、行文格式和措辞技巧。

(九)、包装、唛头和装运

1、教学内容

(1)常见包装材料、包装方式、唛头和装运的英文描述;

(2)合同中有关包装和装运条款的订立及其常见英文句型;

(3)相关信函的写作。

2、基本要求

了解包装材料、包装方式、唛头及装运的英文描述,掌握英文合同中的包装和装运条款的订立,常用句型以及相关信函的写作技巧。

(十)、保险和装运

1、教学内容

(1)常见保险险别的英文描述;

(2)英文保险单的格式、内容、相关惯例和审核要点;

(3)英文合同中保险条款的订立;

(4)相关信函的写作技巧;

(5)实例分析

2、基本要求

了解保险的概念和常见险别的英文描述,掌握英文保险单的内容以及在信用证业务下保险单的审核要点,熟练掌握英文合同中保险条款的订立和相关信函的写作技巧。

1、教学内容

(1)销售代理与经销的区别

(2)销售代理与代销的区别

(3)销售代理与销售代表的区别

(4)代理的种类、相关信函及协议的写作;

(5)合同语言的特点及其翻译问题。

2、基本要求

了解代理的种类及其特点,掌握有关代理问题磋商的基本句型和信函写作要领,熟悉合同语言的特点,熟练制作和翻译相关合同。

(十二)、投诉和索赔

1、教学内容

(1)投诉和索赔的区别;

(2)投诉和索赔的种类

(3)投诉和索赔函的方法策略及格式

(3)相关信函的写作原则;

(4)案例分析

2、基本要求

了解索赔的常见情形,掌握英文合同相关条款的订立,了解索赔和拒绝给与理赔的信函的写作原则和常用句型。

(十三)、招标和投标

《商务英语写作》教学大纲 一、课程性质、任务和基本要求 1.课程性质 《商务英语写作》是商务英语专业的专业核心课程,也是文秘、国贸等涉外专业的重要选修课程,旨在培养学生英语五项技能中的英语写作能力。此课程涵盖了商务英语基本写作类型、写作规、写作格式和写作方法,课程容与现实商务生活紧密结合,既提供各种实例,又设计了一体化的实训,训练学生用英语有条理地组织商务信息,起草规得体、条理清晰的商务文书,合理利用商务交流中的礼节和技巧,建立有效的商务沟通。 2.课程任务 开设本课程旨在使学生对商务情景中最常见和最常用的各种应用文的用途及格式有一个总的了解,使其不仅能熟悉商务文体的各种惯用英文表达法,而且能广泛增加有关商务知识,并在模拟及实景中运用这些知识进行商务交际。 3.基本要求: 充分利用教材中的商务材料以及老师所给的案例,并结合所学商务知识,与现实商务活动进行多种形式的联系,提高学生对各种商务写作材料的准确理解和把握。经过反复学习、模仿和套用,掌握商务应用文的书写规律和方法,逐渐学会撰写各类商务应用文,力求语言正确,表达得体,在实际操作中活学活用。 二、学时分配建议 本课程教学总时数为66课时,具体学时分配可参见下表。 学时分配建议表
