I accept the terms in the license agreement选项,然后选择next输入口令(如果有口令)选择安装的路径,一般为默认路径安装;点击change,可以更改安装目录。

The versions of HP OpenView Storage Data Protector addressed in this document are A.05.10 and A.05.50. (DP 5.1 and DP 5.5)The main objective of this document is to provide an overview of the procedure for performing backup and restore operations using the HP OpenView Storage Data Protector in HP ServiceGuard cluster of Linux systems. It also describes the concepts involved in carrying out backup and restore operations in the cluster using HP OpenView Storage Data Protector. The Whitepaper begins with an overview of HP ServiceGuard cluster. Then it covers the installation of HP OpenView Storage Data Protector in HP ServiceGuard cluster. The next section explains the procedure for configuring Data Protector in HP ServiceGuard cluster. The concluding section provides directions on backup/restore of the shared data in the cluster.2.HP ServiceGuard Cluster on LinuxA cluster is a collection of computer nodes – independent, self-contained computersystems – that work together to provide a more reliable and powerful system than a single node.HP ServiceGuard is the clustering software for protecting critical applications from hardware and software failures. With this software, multiple systems (nodes) are organized into a cluster that is capable of delivering highly available application services to LAN-attached clients. HP ServiceGuard for Linux allows the resources needed by an application to be organized into entities called packages. HP ServiceGuard is an important component in creating a complete and robust environment for critical applications by making them highly available.Figure 2-1 shows a typical ServiceGuard cluster with two nodes.Figure 2-1 Typical Cluster ConfigurationIn the figure, node 1 (one of two SPU's) is running package A, and node 2 is running package B. Each package has a separate group of disks associated with it, containing data needed by the package's applications, and a copy of the data.Note that both nodes are physically connected to disk arrays. However, only one node at a time may access the data for a given group of disks. In the figure, node 1 is shown with exclusive access to the top two disks (solid line), and node 2 is shown as connected without access to the top disks (dotted line). Similarly, node 2 is shown with exclusive access to the bottom two disks (solid line), and node 1 is shown as connected without access to the bottom disks (dotted line).3.Installing Data Protector agents on HP ServiceGuard clusterThis section provides guidelines on installation of Data Protector agents on the nodes in HP ServiceGuard cluster of Linux systems. The Disk Agent, Media Agent, Command Line Interface (CLI) and the relevant integration agents (such as Oracle, SAP R/3) will be installed on each cluster node (local hard disk) separately, and not on the shared disk.3.1.Local InstallationIn case there is no Unix Installation Server in Data Protector Cell, then the Data Protector Agent(s) like Disk Agent, Media Agent etc. are needed to be installed locally on each of the cluster nodes. Please refer to the chapter “Installing Data Protector on Your Network” in the “HP OpenView Storage Data Protector Installation and Licensing Guide” (Installation.pdf) for the detailed procedure of installing the agent(s).3.2.Remote InstallationThe remote installation can be done if a UNIX installation server is present in the Data Protector cell. You can install Data Protector Agent(s) like Disk Agent, Media Agent etc. on the cluster nodes by distributing from the Installation Server for UNIX, using the Data Protector Graphical User Interface (GUI).Please refer to the chapter “Installing Data Protector on Your Network” in the “HP OpenView Storage Data Protector Installation and Licensing Guide” for the detailed procedure.4.Configuring Data Protector in HP ServiceGuard cluster 4.1.Importing virtual host to Data Protector CellImporting means manually adding a system to the cell after the Data Protector software has been installed on the system. Once the system is a member of the Data Protector cell, the information about the new system is written to the Data Protector database, which is located on the Cell Manager. In order to use Data Protector with the HP ServiceGuard cluster of Linux systems, you need to import the virtual host (application package) to the Cell as a client. Therefore the application package (e.g. Oracle) must run on the cluster with its virtual IP. You should check this with the command cmviewcl –v before importing the client. To import the virtual host using the Data Protector Graphical User Interface (GUI), perform the following steps:1.In the Context List, click Clients.2.In the Scoping Pane, right-click Client, and then click Import Client to start thewizard for importing a client.3.Follow the wizard to add (import) the virtual host to the cell. Please see theOnline Help (Help Navigator) for details.5.Backing Up & Restoring Data in the ClusterTo backup data contained in the shared storage of the cluster, the shared disk should be mounted. This can be done by specifying the shared disk as a cluster resource in the package. Starting the package on a host will make it as active node in the cluster (identified by a virtual IP address) and the shared disk will be mounted on the specified mount point. If the Data Protector agents (such as Disk Agent, Media Agent, Oracle integration agent, SAP R/3 integration agent etc.) are running on the active node and the virtual host has been imported to the Data Protector Cell, the backup of shared disk can be performed using Data Protector.5.1.Backup5.1.1 File system Backup1.Install the Data Protector Disk Agent and Media Agent on the clusternodes as described in earlier section.2.Import the virtual host into the Data Protector Cell as described in earliersection. Now Data Protector can access the shared data in the cluster.3.Configure a file system backup.
