Last Friday I saw the worst weather in years. In the morning, the sun was completely blocked so that I could see something clearly. I stayed at home, look outside. The Dragon Boat Festival has history of over 2,000 years. There are many tales about their origin. The most popular is when the festival is celebrated in honor of Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan was very concerned about his country but was not understanding by the rulers. Feeling desperate, he jumped into the Miluo River on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, 278 BC. Before he died, the fishermen sailed their boats to look up for his body. People throw Zongzi into the water, hoping to prevent possible fish attack his body. That's because people later celebrate the festival through such activity as dragon boat racing and eating zongzi on that special day.

With the proverb goes, "Good habits benefit from you all your life." Enter high school, I was crazy about fast food and ate too many. As a result, I was too heavily overweight that I suffered a lot from my awkward appearance. Worse still, my classmates play jokes on me at times. From then on, I made up my mind to avoid snacks and to take up jogging to lose weights. Because of the timely change, it was not long after I did succeed in creating my new image. Only then did I realize the importance of forming good habit.
To be honest, the change in our habit means a lot to me, which is good for my success and helps me regain confidence.

Challenges of life are of great importance in our grow. They remind me my days in senior high school which I was in the military training. It was the first time that I have lived away from my home, so I found it difficult to fit in. And the training officer was strict in me. I once thought I couldn't stick to the end. But anyway, I was succeeded. The trials made it much easy for me to adapt to life, but the difficulties I came across have now become a precious memory in my life. There may be two mainly reasons for the popularity of English in China in recent year: the economic(经济的)reform and the open policy. They are also needed to participate international affairs. University students who English level is high are easily employed and well pay. This encourages people to learn English.
