【导学】
技巧点拨
1．介绍人物特征时，多用一般现在时。

若描述其具体的过去行为，则用一般过去时。

2．积累常用的人物外貌描写和性格描写的语汇。

3．描写人物性格特征时，可使用以下句型，丰富人物形象。

（1）“so＋adj. /adv.＋that"。

例：Mary is so diligent that she always comes first in her study．玛丽如此非常勤奋，以致她的学习总是第一名。

（2）adj.＋enough to do sth.。

例：Bob was confident enough to solve all the problems by himself.鲍勃有足够的信心独自解决所有的问题。

（3）“a person with＋n.”。

例：John，a person with imagination，is able to make up many new stories．约翰，一个想象力丰富的人，能够编很多故事。

4．可使用副词或“with + n.”的状语结构进一步描写人物行为动作。

例：
David carefully positioned the cup on the edge of the shelf. =David positioned the cup on the edge of the shelf with care．大卫小心翼翼地将杯子放在架子的边缘。

5．使用同位语、定语从句、非谓语丰富人物信息。

例：
（1）Mr. Smiths，an experienced professor，is willing to help and therefore is thought highly of by all his students．史密斯先生，一个经验丰富的教授，乐于助人，因此受到他所有学生的高度评价。

(2) Chen Ming, who was once the champion of the English Speech Contest, is glad to share his learning methods with us. 陈明, 曾是一位英语演讲比赛的冠军,愿意同我们分享他的学习方法
(3) Zhang Ming, furthering his study at Cambridge University does a part-time job to earn extra money．张明，正在剑桥大学进修，做兼职赚外快。

1. 认真审题, 弄清写作要求: 本文要求介绍一位传奇人物, 共含姓名,国籍等9个信息点. 所介绍的事迹都是已经发生过的, 主体时态用一般过去时, 但在运用”学习永不为晚”这句谚语时, 要用一般现在时.
2. 信息分组, 便于五句表达: 我们按事情发生的先后顺序，可以分成以下五组，以便各用一个英文句子来表达。

(1)姓名、国籍、出生日期；
(2）获得第一个学位，第二个学位。

(3）学习态度：挑战自我，永远为时不晚。

(4) 80多岁时决定学习法律, 2006年获得硕士学位
世界纪录: 2006年获硕士学位时年龄最大(2006年获得硕士学位时, 年龄创世界纪录, 是同一件事, 因此放在一起, 作为一个要点)
