网上罗素《自由思想十诫》翻译错不少。

我重翻了一下，欢迎指正1. Do not feel absolutely certain of anything.凡事不要抱绝对肯定的态度。

2. Do not think it worthwhile to produce belief by concealing evidence, for the evidence is sure to come to light.不要认为，为产生信念，就值得花时间隐瞒证据，因为证据最终会暴露出来。

3. Never try to discourage thinking, for you are sure to succeed.不要鼓励不思考，因为你肯定会成功。

4. When you meet with opposition, even if it is from your family, endeavor to overcome it with argument and not by authority, for a victory dependent upon authority is unreal and illusory.遇到反对意见，即使来自家人，也要尽力以讲理服人，而不是以权威服人，因为靠权威得来的胜利是假的和虚幻的。

5. Have no respect for the authority of others, for there are always contrary authorities to be found.不要尊崇任何权威，因为总能找到相反的权威。

6. Do not use power to suppress opinions you think pernicious, for if you do, the opinions will suppress you.不要用权力去压制你认为有害的观点，因为如果你这么做，这些观点就把你废了。

7. Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once. eccentric.不要害怕自己的观点怪异，因为现在所接受每个观点曾经都很怪异。

8. Find more pleasure in intelligent dissent than in passive agreement, for if you value intelligence as you should, the former implies a deeper agreement than the latter.在机智的反驳中而非被动的接受中发现更多乐趣，因为如果你视智慧为你应拥有的，那前者是比后者更为深刻的赞同。

9. Be scrupulously truthful even if the truth is inconvenient, for it is more inconvenient when you try to conceal it.在真相上一丝不苟，既使真相带来麻烦，因为掩盖真相往往带来更多麻烦。

10. Do not feel envious of the happiness of those who live in a fool’s paradise, for only a fool
will think that is happiness.不要羡慕在蠢人乐园里享福的人，因为只有蠢人才以为那是幸福。
