PD5M5mm InGaAs PhotodiodeFEATURES• Planar Structure• Dielectric Passivation • High Shunt Resistance • High ResponsivityAPPLICATIONS• Sensing•High Sensitivity InstrumentationPD5M-0xxCeramic Sub-MountPD5M-1xxTO8 can PackagePRODUCT DESCRIPTIONThe PD5M is an InGaAs photodiode with a photosensitive region 5mm in diameter. Applications include sensing and other high sensitivity instrumentation. Class A devices feature very low dark current and high shunt resistance. High reliability is assured through planar semiconductor design and dielectric passivation. The device can be assembled on a ceramic sub-mount or in an hermetic TO8 can. Custom packages are an option.ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICSTable 1: Electrical SpecificationsPARAMETER MIN TYP MAX UNITDark Current (I D) (1)- 100 - nAResponsivity at 1310nm 0.80 0.90 - A/WResponsivity at 1550nm 0.850.95-A/W Rise/Falltime - 1.2 - μsShunt Resistance (Class A) (2)100 - - KΩNoise Equivalent Power (Class A) - 2x10-13- WHz-1/2D* (Class A) - 2x1012- cmHz1/2W-1(1) 0.3V reverse bias(2) 0V reverse biasPD5MRev 1.02ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS (cont)Table 2: Absolute Maximum RatingsPARAMETERMIN MAX UNIT Forward Current - 200 mA Reverse Current - 30 mA Reverse Voltage - 1 V Operating Case Temperature -40 +85 ºC Storage Temperature -40 +85 ºC Soldering temperature (10 seconds) - +250 ºC Stresses in excess of the absolute ratings may cause permanent damage. adequate heat-sink is provided, they can deliver up to 100mA output current. They are intended as fixed voltage regulators in a wide range of applications including local or on-card regulation for elimination of noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. In addition, they can be used with power pass elements to make high-current voltage regulators. The L78L00series used as Zener diode/resistor combination replacement, offers an effective output impedance improvement of typically twoorders of magnitude, along with lower quiescent current and lower noise.L78L00SERIESPOSITIVE VOLTAGEREGULATORSL78L00SERIES2/24ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS(*)Our SO-8package used for Voltage Regulators is modified internally to have pins 2,3,6and 7electrically communed to the die attach flag. This particular frame decreases the total thermal resistance of the package and increasesits ability to dissipate power when an appro-priate area of copper on the printed circuit board is available for heat-sinking.The external dimensions are the same as for the standard SO-8.THERMAL DATA(*)Considering 6cm of copper Board heat-sinkTEST CIRCUITSCONNECTION DIAGRAM (top PD5 SeriesDMR handheld radiosThe PD5 series from Hytera convinces with its compact design, scope of functions and high cost efficiency. With the support ofdigital and analog mobile radio, the PD5 series is your perfectcompanion for entering the professional digital mobile radio.HighlightsCompact, lightweight and easy to operateThe radios of the PD5 series are particularly ergonomic and easy to operate. With aweight of only 260 g (PD505) or 280 g (PD565), the PD5 series offers a high level ofmobility comfort.Cost-efficient with superlative voice qualityWith the combined application of the narrow-band codec and digital technologiesfor error correction, the PD5 series ensures a superlative voice quality even in loudenvironments or in peripheral areas of the radio coverage. The lithium-ion battery (1500 mAh) included in the scope of delivery achieves anoperating time of at least 16 hours (duty cycle 5-5-90). With the optionally available2000-mAh battery, it will even be 20 hours.Support of analog and digital mobile radioThe PD5 series was developed in compliance with the ETSI mobile radio standardDigital Mobile Radio (DMR). The handheld radios support the conventional DMRmode and can also be operated in manual mode. On top of that, the radios supportHytera XPT radio systems. That makes the terminals of the PD5 series the ideal com-panion for the move to digital mobile radio.Pseudo trunked radiotimeslots of a frequency. As a result, the radios can utilize both timeslots in DMOand RMO mode in the conventional DMR operation. This guarantees an efficientfrequency utilization.Additional Functions (selection)One-touch functions with which preprogrammed text messages, voice calls andsupplementary functions can be called up quicklySupport of several expanded analog signal modes, including HDC1200, 2-toneand 5-tone, for an improved integration in existing analog radio fleetsHytera basic encryption (40 bit) in digital operationLeasing functionVersatile voice calls: Individual call, group call, broadcast call, data call, emergency callDMRA data serviceWireless radio activation/deactivation (enable/disable),Priority interruptand remote monitor function (optional)P D 565Lithium-ion battery (1500 mAh) BL1502Quick charger CH10A07Hand strap RO03Belt clip BC12Switching power adapt-er for charger PS1018Earphone ESM12Remote speaker Vehicle power adapter CHV09Carrying case (nylon) NCN0116-unit charger MCA08Lithium-ion battery (2000 mAh) BL2010Hytera Mobilfunk GmbHAddress: Fritz-Hahne-Straße 7, 31848 Bad Münder, Germany Tel.: + 49 (0)5042 / 998-0 Fax: + 49 (0)5042 / 998-105 E-mail:**************|Your Hytera partner:Further information can be found at: Contact us if you are interested in sales, distribution or application partnership: **************SGS Certificate DE11/81829313Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH reserves the right to modify the product design and the specifications. PD7015 Firmware Upgrade InstructionThere are two firmware upgrades available for this product. One is the firmware for DVD and the other is for DVB-T. Read the steps carefully for upgrade.Preparation for the upgrade:You will need the following:• A PC with an archive utility that supports the ZIP-format (e.g. WinZip for Windows); and supports CD-burning function.•For upgrading firmware for DVD: An empty CD-R.•For upgrading firmware for DVB-T: A USB flash device. An empty one is advised to avoid a crash among files.Note: Make sure the USB flash device is formatted with FAT32 file system.Important:•Do not rename the downloaded files.•Do not switch off the device during firmware upgrade. Otherwise the device would be damaged.Download the firmware files into the computer:1. Click on the Download icon to download the firmware package to yourcomputer.2. Extract/unzip the downloaded folder. There will be two folders:•The files inside the folder “DVD” are for upgrading the firmware for DVD.•The file inside the folder “DVB-T” is for upgrading the firmware for DVB-T.(A) To upgrade firmware for DVD:1. Inside the folder “DVD”, there are three files:• build.img• SWAP.BIN• update.verBurn all files into an empty CD-R.Note: Do not put the files in any folder.Tip: In order to ensure upgrade files to be recognized, it is recommend to burn some other non-media files into the CD-R.2. Switch on the device.3. Press SOURCE button to select DVD mode.4. Load the CD-R.5. When the upgrade files are detected by the device, the following pop-upbox appears.6. Select [OK] to start the upgrade process.7. When firmware upgrade is completed, the device restarts and thenswitches to DVD mode automatically.(B) Instruction to upgrade the firmware for DVB-T1. Inside the folder “DVB-T”, there are two files:•flash.bin•usb_upgrade_all_ flash.binCopy the files and paste them in the root directory of the USB flash device.Note: Do not put the files in any folder.2. Switch on the device.3. Press SOURCE button to select DVB-T mode.4. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port of the device.5. On the remote control, press SETUP button, and then select [System].6.
