8.提炼中心法。这是写新材料作文最为常见且最为稳妥的审题立意方法。写新材料作文时，如果能准确地提炼出材料的中心，并以其作为文章的主旨，一定会使所写文章既切题又有深度。所以，写新材料作文时这种方法来立意最多。

9.抓关键句法。关键句常常有暗示材料中心的作用。所以，有些新材料作文材料中的关键性语句可以作为选择立意角度的突破口。在新材料作文的材料中，关键句常常是命题者或材料中的人物的评议性语句。
一、审题（认真审题，确定时态、人称，同时关注题材格式） 1、时态：故事性文章一般用过去时，其中表达感受时可用现在时。
说明性或议论性文章一般用现在时，举例时可用过去时。
根据题目要求也会出现时态的交错使用，如过去和现在的对比等。
如果句中出现了时间状语，时态则要遵循时间状语。 2、人称：句子中人称要统一。
三、成文：成文时表述正确，文字流畅
切忌与汉语提示的一一对应，使用所学表达方法将语义表达出来即可。
考虑句子结构(如主谓宾，主系表等)。
同时注意短语的正确使用和单词的拼写，最好使用课本上学过的短语和句式。
四、理清文章结构：文章结构清晰，重点句型出彩。
考虑文章的篇章结构，使用适当的连词，使文章结构紧凑。那连词有哪些呢，常分为以下几类：

5、内容的完整：一般供料作文包括一定数量的内容点，漏写某一点则要被扣掉2~3分，因此审题要细心观察，特别是在做看图作文题时，要注意某些夸张“画点”，它（们）常是暗示应当写出的内容点。画面内容较多时，不要事无巨细，全面开花，应当仅仅围绕主题。恰当取舍，做到详略得当。此外，80词左右的英语作文至少需 70词，最多不能超过90词，少词或多词则要扣分。

为了提高作文成绩。需要指出的是：很多考生的高分作文（80字以下）的句子数量都在8至 10句之间（以句子长短和结构不同而变化）。如按每个句子平均8~12个单词计算，用7~10个句子便能完成一篇要求在80词左右的作文。其基本模式为：
