Lesson duration: 45 mins
Ⅱ. Teaching aims /objectives:
By the end of the lesson, Ss should be able to:
1. Get students to go over the useful new words and expressions in this unit.
2. Have students review the new grammar item: the use of ought to.
3. Encourage students to learn more about problems with diet, a balanced diet and nutrition.
4. Stimulate students’ sense to have a balanced diet.
5. Strengthen students’ sense of group cooperation.

1. Develop students’ reading ability.

This reading passage introduces the students to two unbalanced diets through the story of wang peng and Yong Hui. Food at wang peng’s restaurant contains too much fat while Yong Hui’s restaurant little energy-giving food.
