但是这个班的学生由于基础不太好，所以有部分学生学起来很吃力，大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣，但由于知识的安排由浅入深，有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理，消除学生厌学情绪，激发学习兴趣显得至关重要。

Maybe student will say “yes, I can”T show the correct answer on PPT “Sure, I’d love to” Then students read after me and some other students. After that, show some pictures about other invitations: Can you come to my house? Can you go to the movies?... Ask and answer together first, then make a conversation with their partner according to the picture.Purpose: Arouse their interest and confidence. Situation approach and task-based teaching method are used here.ii)To decline an invitationAsk another student who is going to help his parents next Sunday:”Can you come to my party on Sunday morning?” Ss:”No, I can’t” T helps him get the correct ways to answer it. Show the sentences and picture on PPT “I’m sorry. I have to help my parents.”After the new teaching, give some pictures about invitations and the reasons they can’t go. Ask and answer in pairs to practice the target language. Purpose: Students are the masters of the class, in order to let them use the language in a natural and efficient way, I give Ss enough practice . This step aims to make Ss grasp the target language, Practice the Ss’ listening and speaking ability. Step3 Listening practice (5mins)Explain the task and make sure the students understand what to do. Then play thetape. After listening check the answer.Purpose: It aims to practice the listening ability of the target language in spoken conversations.Step4 Groupwork (10mins)Divide the students into 8 groups first. Then give each two groups one task to make a conversation.Task1:to invite your friends to your birthday party.Task 2: to invite your friends to your house.Task 3: to invite your friends to go shoppingTask4: to invite your friends to go to the mountains.The ways of invitations include: make a call and invite face to face. They can choose one or both.Purpose: Practice the new target language with the help of the language learned. It aims to cater for individual differences, develop students' knowledge, communication skills, cooperative skillsStep5 Summary (2mins)In this step, I’ll guide students to conclude key words, phrases and sentences to wide their knowledge. At the same time ,practice their summing up ability.Step6 Homework (1min)In the end, I’ll give some homework.
