Its usually full of tabloids and pop magazines that feature the latest craze and what all thehit stars have been up to. A recent movie called Paparazziis about an action star who is constantly harassed by photographers who follow his every footstep. Granted none of these things seem very intrusive, but thousands possibly millions of people know them. Thestar has very little if any privacy. It is there that Lincolns。
sat范文SAT Essay Sample:In today's world, individuals are constantly fighting for power and control. This hunger for power and control often results in conflicts and disputes that can lead to devastating consequences. However, power and control can be used in positive ways to empower individuals and bring about positive change. When power is used in a just and responsible manner, it has the ability to uplift communities, promote equality, and foster progress. One way in which power can uplift communities is through effective leadership. A strong and capable leader can inspire and motivate individuals to work together towards a common goal. They can encourage community members to take ownership of their actions and make positive contributions to society. For example, Mahatma Gandhi, the influential leader of the Indian independence movement, used his power to advocate for non-violence and civil disobedience. Through his leadership, he was able to unite millions of people and eventually achieve India's independence from British rule.Power can also be utilized to promote equality and social justice. In many societies, certain groups face discrimination and are denied basic rights and opportunities. However, those in positions of power have the ability to enact policies and create systems that level the playing field. For instance, Rosa Parks, a civil rights activist, used her power to resist segregation laws by refusing to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. This act of defiance sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott and eventually led to thedesegregation of public transportation.Furthermore, power can be a catalyst for progress and innovation. Individuals with power can influence public opinion and shape the direction of society. They can advocate for change and push for advancements in various fields. Take, for example, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. His innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit have revolutionized the automobile and space industries. Through his power and influence, he has propelled us towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future. In conclusion, power and control can be used in positive ways to uplift communities, promote equality, and foster progress. Effective leadership, the promotion of social justice, and the ability to drive innovation are all examples of how power can be harnessed for the greater good. It is essential, however, that those in positions of power wield their influence responsibly and ethically. By doing so, they can create positive change and make a lasting impact on society.。
sat英语作文In the 21st century, technology has become an integral partof our daily lives, transforming the way we communicate, work, and learn. The field of education, in particular, has witnessed a significant shift in its approach and methodology due to the advent of various technological tools and platforms. This essay aims to explore the impact oftechnology on modern education, discussing both itsadvantages and challenges.Introduction:The traditional model of education, which primarily relied on the teacher-student interaction in a classroom setting, has evolved to include digital resources and online learning platforms. Technology has not only made education more accessible but also more interactive and personalized.Body Paragraph 1 - Advantages of Technology in Education:One of the most significant advantages of technology in education is the accessibility it provides. Students from remote areas can now attend virtual classes and access educational materials online, which was not possible a few decades ago. Moreover, technology has made learning more engaging through the use of multimedia content, such as videos, animations, and interactive simulations, which caterto different learning styles.Body Paragraph 2 - Personalized Learning:Another benefit of technological integration in education is the ability to provide personalized learning experiences. Adaptive learning software can tailor educational content to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they learn at their own pace and focus on areas where they need improvement.Body Paragraph 3 - Challenges of Technology in Education: Despite the numerous benefits, the integration of technology in education also presents challenges. One of the primary concerns is the digital divide, where unequal access to technology can exacerbate educational inequalities. Additionally, there is the issue of information overload, where students struggle to discern credible sources from the vast amount of information available online.Body Paragraph 4 - The Role of Teachers in a Technological Era:The role of teachers in the age of technology has also transformed. They are no longer just imparters of knowledge but facilitators of learning, guiding students in navigating the digital landscape. Teachers must also be adept at using technology to enhance their teaching methods and engage students effectively. Conclusion:In conclusion, technology has revolutionized the field of education, offering unprecedented opportunities for learning and growth. While there are challenges to overcome, the potential benefits are immense. It is crucial for educational institutions to address the digital divide and equip bothstudents and teachers with the necessary skills to harness the power of technology effectively. As we continue to embrace technological advancements, the future of education promises to be more inclusive, interactive, and effective.。
Do YOU THINK THAT EASE DOES NOT CHALLENGE US AND THAT WE NEED ADVERSITIES TO HELP US DISCOVER WHO WE ARE? What associates us to find our advantages and disadvantages is not success. Sometimes, success can only blind our insights and make us arrogant. Actually, it is hardship that helps us find our strengths and weaknesses. By experiencing some difficulties, we gradually become aware of our own ability—we need to ponder what we are good at, what not. And through this kind of speculation, we perform ego integrity.A good example of this can be seen in the economic field. This kind of phenomenon, I’d like to say, is quite prevalent. Too many times we see the reactions of the government, when confronted by the deadlock of the economy, to save the recessing economy. It is the result of the economy strategies, which in this circumstance bring about the economic hardship, that promotes economists to find the bug or the weakness of the strategies. Therefore economists can polish the economic tactics. Take the Great Depression that happened in the USA in 1939 as an example. After the black Friday when the price of all the stocks suddenly dropped and thousands of people needed to join the dole line attack the whole American, people became aware of the weakness of the president Hoo ver’s 自由放任振策, which would widen the disparity between the rich and the poor without the gove rnment’s regulations and bring about the feign prosperity of the economy. Through the great depression, people found the shortcomings of the at-that-time-current policy. What if people continued to indulge in the feign prosperity of the economy? The more destructive, more spread effects will confront the whole globe and thus people lived a more abject life.Another example is from the famous Steve jobs, a man even not graduating from the university. After several months jobs entered the Reed College, he simply found that attending the college, to him honestly, is of no use. So he decided to drop off the college. We can imagine the embarrassment and unrest of dropping school, especially off an outstanding school like Reed College. We may become incompetent because we are not adept in a certain area (in the university, it’s called “major”), and therefore our prospects will be dim. However, it was this period when Jobs dropped the Reed College that Jobs found that he was really interested in calligraphy. Therefore, mac has the mostbeautiful fonts now. Adversity made jobs find his where his interest lied and built a solid foundation for his future success. From the realm of evidence we can safely conclude that asperity help us discover who we are. Great depression helped Americans to find the weakness of the ziyou. Dropping out of the school helped jobs to find his interest.。

SAT Essay优秀范文欣赏IM GOING RUNNING TODAY. I am not concerned about my calorie consumption for the day, nor am I anxious to get in shape for the winter season. I just want to go running。
I used to dislike running. If you dont win this game, youre all running five miles tomorrow, the field hockey coach used to warn, during those last days of October when the average temperature seemed to be decreasing exponentially. And so, oasionally, my grief-stricken team would run numerous miserable laps around the fields. At the end of these excursions, our faces and limbs would be numb, and we would all have developed those notorious flu-like symptoms; but the running made us better in the long run, I suppose. Nevertheless, I counted down the days until the end of the field hockey season, vowing never to put on a pair of running shoes again. Then I surprised myself by signing up for outdoor track in the second half of sophomore year. I was foolish to have believed that I could ever escape this insidious and magic addiction。
关于SAT的总分值英语作文Think carefully about the following passage and the assignment below.Essay PromptMohandas Gandhi labeled close friendships as dangerous because friends react on one another and sometimes loyalty to a friend will lead us into wrongdoing.George Orwell stated that sometimes one is willing to mit sins for the sake of loyalty to others. What do you thinkare close friendships dangerous because they may lead us to wrongdoing, or is it okay that we sometimes mit sins for the sake of loyalty to others?Marco的SAT作文I think that if you have a close friendship with the wrong person, then yes, close friendships are dangerous and may lead to wrongdoing. For example, if I had a close friendship with a gang member and hung out with him and his fiends, then they might try to make me do something illegal or stupid, such as getting involved with drugs or breaking the law in other ways. If I had a close friendship with a straight-A student who helps out in the munity then no,that friendship would not be dangerous, but it is possible for that person to pressure me into doing things against my nature as well. Its not that Gandhi is right or wrong in what he says. What he really should have said was to choose friends wisely or we might be coerced into doing something wrong or dangerous because of that friendship. Orwell has adifferent view on things. He feels that sometimes we might have to go out on a limb for a friend.。

At such times, I do not argue, for I realize how difficult it must be for her and my fatherhaving to deal with children who reject their simple idea of life and threaten to drag them into a future they do not understand. For my parents, plans for our futures were very simple. We were to get good grades, go to good colleges, and become good scientists, mathematicians, or engineers. It had to do with being Chinese. But my sisters and I rejected that future, and the year I came home with Honors in English, History and Debate was a year of disillusion for my parents. It was not that they werent proud of my accomplishments, but merely that they had certain ideas of what was safe and solid, what we did in life. 欺骗类Can deception- pretending that something is true when it is not- sometimes have good results? In literature, many authors benefited from lying about themselves. The Bronte sisters, who are famous for their great literature talent, published their works under male names. They wrote at a time when women’s sole job was confined to doing laundry and cooking. In such a male dominated society, the Bronte sisters had no hopes of publishing their novels under real name. By publishing under different names, the sisters’novels were widely accepted and critically acclaimed. The Bronte sisters demonstrated that lying can be essential at times as their own works would have never been born had they not adopted male names. In the case of American Civil War, many slaves escaped their torturous lives via the Underground Railroad. Along the way, many freed slaves and even white Americans assisted these run-aways by providing food, shelter, and most importantly, by lying to slave catchers about the hiding place or trails of the slaves. By lying, these helpers saved and freed many lives. Without those help, many slaves would have been easily caught by the slave catchers, who were equipped with guns and dogs. Once caught, these slaves would face cruel punishment or even death penalty.Although the helpers lied to slave owners and catchers, they helped many slaves to escape their horrifying lives and consequently led America a step farther in racial equality.以上就是SAT写作高分范文的分享。

SAT考试满分的作文(中英文对照)Is the opinion of the majority-in government or in any other circumstances-a poor guide? The entire idea of democracy centers around “majority rule”,where laws and standards are put into effect if most of the citizens support it. However, if people concentrate on only the majority in each circumstance, they often forget the voices and rights of the minorities. Simply because a person is in the minority of an opinion does not mean he can be ignored, for in a true democracy all the citizens are guaranteed the same rights. Thus in some circumstances strictly following the opinions of the majority is a poor guide to determining what actions to take. The days before America’s Civil War, when slavery was prevalent, demonstrate that following majority rule often fails to respect people’s moral rights and liberty. The majority of white people in the early 1800’s supported slavery because of the benefits they received from the suppressed blacks. Thus, the government reluctantly allowed slavery to be legal in America, despite the terrible sufferings of the slaves. The degraded slaves underwent uncountable terrifying experiences-they were beaten, separated from their families, and forced to toil laboriously in fields their entire lives. And because the government believed “majority ruled”,the slaves lived in such conditions until the Emancipation Proclamation was written during the bloody Civil War. Had the government not followed the opinions of the clamoring whites, slavery could have been abolished much sooner, and much suffering could have been avoided. Thus, in this circumstance of freedom vs. suppression, the opinion of the majority served as a poor guide to follow by the U.S. government. Furthermore, the effects of majority rule impact Americans today, for there are many unsolved, controversial issues such as abortion, stem-cell research, and homosexual marriages. In the case of “gay rights”,the majority of Americans oppose people of the same sex marrying, and most of the states’laws reflect this opinion. However, ignoring the wishes of gays and lesbians by enacting these laws will leave many of them unhappy because they cannot legally “tie the knot” with the person they love. The U.S. Constitution declares that everyone has the right to pursue happiness, but by banning gay marriages, some may be barred from the happiness of marriage. In addition, many oppose stem cell research because they are angered by the fact that embryos are created and then destroyed. Once again, though, if the government passes a law banning such research, the minority may suffer. Stem cell research may save lives by using the cells to specialize in a certain area. Those who would benefit from the discoveries of stem cell research may die译文“多数人做主的原则”是否会是个误导?民主的整个观念是基于“多数人做主的原则”。

雅思写作满分范文(合集15篇)雅思写作满分范文第1篇Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on your personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life.Which do you consider to be the major influence?(2012年5月真题)Today the way we consider human psychology and mental development is heavily influenced by the genetic sciences. We now understand the importance ofinherited characteristics more than ever before. Yet we are still unable to decide whether an individual's personality and development are more influenced by genetic factors (nature) or by the environment (nurture).Research, relating to identical twins, has highlighted how significant inherited characteristics can be for an individual's life. But whether these characteristics are able to develop within the personality of an individual surely depends on whether the circumstances allow such a development. it seems that the experiences we have in life are so unpredictable and so powerful, that they can boost or over-ride other influences, and there seems to be plenty of research findings to confirm this.My own view is that there is no one major influence in a person's life. Instead, the traits, we inherit from our parents and the situations and experiences we have in life are constantly interacting. It is the interacting ofthe two that shapes a person's personality and dictates how that personality develops. If this were not true, then we would be able to predict the behaviour and character of a person from the moment they were born.In conclusion, I do not think that either nature or nurture is the major influence on a person, but that both have powerful effects. How these factors interact is still unknown today and they remain largely unpredictable in a person's life.雅思写作满分范文第2篇Happiness is considered very important in life. Why is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieving happiness?Happiness is very difficult to define, because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link happiness to wealth and material success, others think it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. Yet others think that spiritual paths, rather than either the material world or relationships with people, are the only way to true happiness.Because people interpret happiness for themselves in so many different ways, it is difficult to give any definition that is true for everyone. However, if there are different kinds of happiness for different individuals then the first step in achieving it would be to have a degree of self-knowledge. A personneeds to know who he or she is before being able to know what it is that makes him or her happy.Of course, factors such as loving relationship, good health, the skills to earn a living and a peaceful environment all contribute to our happiness too. But this does not mean that people without these conditions cannot be happy.Overall, I think an ability to keep clear perspectives in life is a more essential factor in achieving happiness. By that I mean an ability to have a clear sense of what is important in our lives (the welfare of our families, the quality of our relationships, making other people happy, etc.) and what is not (a problem at work, getting annoyed about trivial things, etc.).Like self-awareness, this is also very difficult to achieve, but I think these are the two factors that may be the most important for achieving happiness.(262words)雅思写作满分范文第3篇给出一个社会热点问题,探讨产生的原因及解决方案注意:探讨原因影响解决方案时,从「个人」「社会」「国家」三个不同角度思考开头段:It is undoubtedly the case that urban areas around the world increasingly suffer from _(+社会热点问题)________ . Essay 5:Are people motivated to achieve by personal satisfaction rather than by money or fame?
Think carefully about the issue presented in the following excerpt and the assignment below.
Assignment :Are people motivated to achieve by personal satisfaction rather than by money or fame?Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue.Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience,or
Observations.
Even though we live in a capitalist society,I still cannot help but believe, despite my own cynicism, that people are more motivated to achieve something for personal satisfaction rather than monetary gains.Look at Chekov's short story,“The Bet.”A man agrees to sacrifice fifteen years of his life in prison in exchange for a million dollars.
Obviously his motivation for such an extreme bet is wealth, but by the end of the prison sentence, the man could care less about the money. After years of introspection,of reading Shakespeare,The Bible, and textbooks, the man actually comes to despise the money he once sought;the money he signed away fifteen years of his life for.He does not collect his money from the banker,he runs away to be on his own and continue to live the life of solitude he has learned to love, free of money and possessions.
Also,in a psychology class, one of the first things students study when they come to the topic of motivation,is external stimulus versus personal drive.Any textbook will tell one that studies show that a child is more likely to put as much energy as possible into completing a task when it is something that makes him happy, than if he was doing it for a physical reward.
A child is more likely to get good grades,if it makes him feel good about himself, than if his parents offer to pay him every time he makes the honor roll.I agree with this theory on motivation because I see it play out everyday in my life.If my older sister had been concerned with money and fame, which reality television tells us every night is important, she would have gone to college after graduating high school. She knew though, that school and learning did not make her happy, and she was not going to suffer through four more years of school just because a college degree could lead to a more successful job.Right now she does not make as much money at her job,but she likes her life and the way she lives;she has more fun
answering phones and dealing with other people at work than she would behind a desk in a classroom. This past year I myself have been forced to look at my priorities as well.I have worked hard in school all my life and have made honor roll semester after semester, because
I enjoy it.I have not filled up my schedule with classes I did not want because calculus and economics look good on a college transcript.I had a high enough GPA to join the National
Honor Society, but I chose not to join because even though it might have impressed some admissions officers,it was not something that was going to make me happy.Instead I spend
my time studying Creative Writing,Art History, and the other subjects I feel truly passionate about.
There is a pleasure principle in psychology, which basically means that one will do whatever will make them most happy or least unhappy.I think that is true, and I feel that the happiness most people seek out is not about money or luxury.Maybe it looks like that from
the media, because advertising says that people want to be like Donald Trump, but that is not real life.Real life is my next door neighbor who gardens as a second job for small fees because
he loves to be outside, working with his hands in the nice weather.I am sure no one would
mind winning the lottery, but to say that it is our primary motivator in life is sad and untrue.
A person who is happy and making minimum wage is likely to live longer than someone who spends his or her life working sixty four hour weeks at a stressful job to make money hand
