I. What is description?
It is the kind of writing aimed at conveying a mental image of some object, person, place or scene through a verbal account of their appearances, movements, actions, or changes. Description states how something looks like, sounds like, feels like, smells like or tastes like.

As an introduction, it should be effectively the subject and thesis you choose to approach so that all the details in the body paragraphs will make a better contribution to the central impression.
Describing a person

Describing an object.
