两个语篇基本以问答的形式构成。
在进行问候的时候,用“May I have your name?”更有礼貌地询问姓名;用“How do you spell your name?”询问如何拼写姓名;初次相识,用“Nice to meet you.”表示礼貌地问候;在表示告别时,用“Goodbye/Bye.”来结束对话。
教学目标通过本节课的学习, 同学们将能:1、能根据语篇内容,对人物关系进行推断;2、能在听、读的过程中,习得如何与陌生人、与熟悉的同学进行对话,并积极回应对方。
3、能围绕主题,运用所学的语言,与他人进行简单日常的交流。
并在书面表达中,能围绕图片内容或模仿语篇,补全对话。

本单元主题属于“人与社会”范畴,涉及的主题群是“社会服务与人际沟通”,子主题为“良好的人际关系与人际交往”。
本单元内容围绕增进同学之间的了解展开,涉及打招呼、询问姓名、开启新对话等。
首先就“How do you greet people?”这个大问题进行了主题意义探究,对话语篇内容以日常口语交际为线索组织信息,通过师生对话和生生对话的形式,呈现了如何得体地与别人打招呼。
接着围绕“How do you start a conversation?”这个问题,以语篇的方式,呈现了如何开启与陌生人、熟人的对话活动。

Starter Unit 1 Good morning!一、教材分析预备篇的主要内容为26个字母和最基本的英语日常用语。
教材的编写主要是帮助那些没有英语基础的学生更好地使用本套教材, 同时又帮助有一点基础的学生尽快熟悉教材中的人物, 激发他们的自信心, 增强说英语的兴趣。
本单元的教学内容为:1.学习A.--.Hh八个字母。
2.学习八个人名。

每个单元都围绕一个中心话题来设计不同的任务, 让学生通过“ing.”来完成。
对教师来说, 有更大的自由度来灵活运用教材, 为自己的学生来量身定做学习方案。
