教学目的:复习本话题所有词汇、固定结构、日常用语以及相关的中西方文化知识,加深学生对所有知识的理解和应用。
教学时间:一课时
教学方法:复习法,教师适当引导,学生自主复习,辅以适量练习,做到讲练结合。

Step 1 Review
Review the following words.

Step 2 Review
Sum up the following items and review how to use them.

Step 3 Review
Grammar review. Review the comparative degrees of adverbs.
Step 4 Review
Notice the following sentences.
1)In Japan, it’s polite to eat noisily. It shows you like the food.
2)In America, it’s not polite to eat with your elbow on the table.
3)In France, you can smoke during a meal.
4)Indians eat with their fingers. There’s no need for knives, forks or
chopsticks.
5)In Thailand people eat with a spoon or a fork. They don’t eat with
knives.
6)When eating in western countries, you should keep your fork in your
left hand and the knife in your right hand. When you drink to someone,
you should raise your glass and take only a sip.
7)In North America, Australia and Europe, people eat with knife and fork.
They have two or three courses for every meal.
8)In Korea, people eat with spoons or chopsticks, but they don’t eat with
both of them at the same time.
9)In the south of China, people eat rice. In the north of China, people eat
noodles.
Step 4 Reading and doing homework
Students read books by themselves. Then do review homework. Check the answers.
教学反思:
复习是学生完成学习任务的必要环节。学生通过复习,将学过的知识进行回顾、归纳、总结,从而达到加深理解,系统吸收、灵活运用的目的。复习的效率和效果在很大程度上取决于复习方法是否恰当、科学,学生学习的积极性是否得以充分调动。要提高复习效率,就应该整体把握教材,采取合适的复习形式,关注学生的自主发展,使学生通过主动参与、合作探究,达到对英语知识的深入把握和综合能力的提高。
