【单元内容】Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. 【课标要求】

1.能够根据所听内容判断出是哪个故事;能听懂故事并按要求完成任务。

2.学会讲故事。

3.能够阅读本单元提供的相关阅读材料;能够阅读各种通话、传说和经典故事。

4.能够续写故事;会写简单的故事和戏剧。

【学习内容分析】(分析知识点在知识体系中的地位和作用;分析知识的应用价值;分析知识对学生的情感熏陶及能力、思维培养上的作用)

本单元围绕“传说和故事”这个话题,谈论过去发生的事情,重点训练“讲故事”这个语言功能项目。通过学习,要求学生掌握如何用过去时态讲述一个故事,描述古老的传说和有趣的故事,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,理解并体会传说和故事的教育意义。在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能理解优美的传说和有趣的故事,掌握故事的基本结构,讲述自己喜爱的故事。

Section A主要围绕愚公移山和美猴王的故事展开,使学生学会用一般过去时表达故事,并用unless, as soon as,so...that..."引导的状语从句来连接故事,培养学生坚忍不拔的品格和助人为乐的精神。

Section B主要围绕着安徒生童话故事《皇帝的新装》进行听说训练,同时通过《糖果屋》的故事进行了阅读训练。让学生通过了解故事的情节发展,捕捉关键信息,使学生能用讲故事的形式进行恰当输出。

【学情分析】(分析知识生成点及新旧知识的关联,预设学生学习困难)初二学生已经学习了一般过去时的用法,这也是学生常用的时态之一,也听说过《愚公移山》、《女娲补天》、《皇帝的新装》等故事。但把故事用自己的话描述出来却很难,可是本单元的话题学生很感兴趣。所以,在教学过程中,要充分调动学生的兴趣、激发他们的学习积极性是关键。

【学习目标】(符合课标、教材内容、学情;陈述具体、可测;体现过程与方法)

1.能够熟练掌握并学会运用本单元的重点词汇、短语及句型。

2.掌握连词unless, as soon as, so...that...等的用法。

3.能够熟练运用一般过去时从时间、地点、人物以及事件等方面描述英文故事并能阐述自己的观点。

4.能够运用教材中的听力材料对学生进行听力训练。

5.通过教材中的阅读材料对学生进行阅读能力、写作能力等的训练和提高。

6.通过一些经典故事,教会学生学会乐于助人,主动去帮助处于困境中的人们。在生活中,当面对困难时,要勇敢地面对一切,决不放弃。

【主干问题及突破策略】(问题化、系列化、层次化、整体化,并设计突破策略)主干问题1:unless引导的条件状语从句

突破策略:

用作连词,意为“除非,如果不”,引导条件状语从句,若主句为一般将来时、祈使句或谓语中含有情态动词时,从句常用一般现在时表示将来。通常可为“if...not”结构进行转换。

结合if的用法,总结unless的用法,并加以练习。

主干问题2:as soon as引导的时间状语从句

突破策略:

意为“一...就...”,引导时间状语从句。若主句是一般将来时,从句常用一般现在时表示将来。

与if,unless的用法结合起来,学习as soon as的用法。

主干问题3:so...that...结构的用法?

突破策略:

意为“如此...以致于...”,that引导结构状语从句,其句型为:主语+谓语+so+形容词+that+从句。

放在句型中让学生发现问题,并在具体练习中进行运用。

主干问题4:如何用自己的话来叙述故事?

突破策略:

先确定时态——一般过去时。用动词短语来勾画故事概况,再加上一定的语言来叙述整个故事。

Say: Each picture shows something a person did in the past. Name each activity and ask students to repeat: Stayed at home, Went to mountains, went to New York City 6. 1. enough修饰形容词或副词时必须位于被修饰的词语之后。修饰名词时一般位于其前,也可位于其后。enough后面通常接不定式短语或介词for短语。 e.g. the question is easy enough. tom didn’t do his homework carefully enough. the water is cool enough to drink. we have enough tickets for all of you. 2. 修饰形容词时,如果用于否定句,则否定句在否定enough的同时,也否定了其后的不定式。 e.g. he is not careful enough to do the work. she is not old enough to go to school. enough如果修饰名词,用于否定句时,不定式没有被否定之意。 e.g. there were not enough people to pick the apples. 3. enough也可以做代词,意思是“足够,充足”。 e.g. we have enough to do to complete the project.
