高考英语:有关教育教学和学习方面的议论性作文专辑(16篇)

1.儿童应该在正规学校接受教育-Children should begin their formal schooling at an early age

People have different views on what children should do at a very early age. Some think that children should begin their formal education and start to spend most of their time on studies. Others believe that it is still time for young children to play. Both views are based on respective ground.

Those who argue for the playing time for children suggest that children at a very early age are still too young to focus their attention on learning. Their brain may not be ready for serious studies such as comprehension and memorizing learning materials. These people are partially right, for it is true that young children can hardly concentrate. Their attention on one thing lasts for no longer than 15 minutes or so. But we can arrange classes for shorter periods, can‟t we? And we can shift teaching subjects. Through putting them to study, young children are occupied with learning but not with playing.

Those who ar gue for children‟s early commencement for formal education believe that being put to studies, children can develop good habit of studying, for the process of learning helps develop children‟s mental abilities like the ability to memorize, the ability to un derstand and the ability to do simple calculation. Children‟s habit of studying and love for learning are of great importance to youngsters because these two things set up the sound foundation for their future studies.

Having children start formal education at a very early age benefits young children much more than simply letting them play most of their time. A good habits needs a long time to develop to become a second nature. More importantly, it is better to develop a good habit before a bad one may grow. Similarly, the love for learning should take toots for before the love for playing is established.

2.大学生是否该雇清洁工打扫寝室?-Should college students hire a cleaning person?

Some people think that college students shouldn‟t hire a cleaning person. This action will do waste of wealth, or do nothing for a good habit. It won‟t be living an independent life truly. Meanwhile, some people pro to them. They think college students should be of right to spend their

own money just for themselves willingness and ways whatever they want what‟s more, students would have more time to do important thing as well.

Personality, I insist on do that things by myself if I go to college. I think we should save money, and do something as possible as we can.

3.考试对教育产生负面影响-Examinations Exert a Negative Influence on Education

We might marvel at the progress made in every field of study, but the methods of testing a person‟s knowledge and ability remain as primitive as ever they were.

It really is extraordinary that after all these years; educationists have still failed to devise anything more efficient and reliable than examinations. For the entire pious claim that examinations test what you know, it is common knowledge that they more often do the exact opposite. They may be a good means of testing memory, or the knack of working rapidly under extreme pressure, but they can tell you nothing about a person‟s true ability and aptitude. As anxiety makers, examinations are second to none. That is because so much depends on them. They are the mark of success or failure in our society. Your whole future may be decided in one fateful day. The moment a child begins school, he enters a world of sharp competition where success and failure are clearly defined and measured. Can we wonder at the increasing number of drop-outs, young people who are written off as utter failures before they have even begun a career? Can we be surprised at the suicide rate among students? A good education should, among other things, train you to think for yourself. The examination system does anything but that. What has to be learnt is rigidly laid down by a syllabus, so …the student is encouraged to memories.

Examinations do not motivate a student to read widely, but to restrict his reading; they do not enable him to seek more and more knowledge, but induce cramming. The most successful candidates are not always the best educated; they are the best trained in the technique of working under pressure.

We might marvel at the progress made in every field of study, but the methods of testing a person‟s knowledge and ability remain as primitive as ever they were.
