动物王国读后感英文作文英文:After reading "Animal Kingdom", I was deeply moved by the rich and diverse world of animals. The book vividly describes the lives of various animals, their habits, and their interactions with each other. It made me realize how amazing and fascinating the animal kingdom truly is.One of the things that struck me the most was the incredible diversity of animal species. From the majestic lions of the African savannah to the tiny ants that work tirelessly in their colonies, there is such a wide range of creatures, each with its own unique characteristics and behaviors. It's truly awe-inspiring to think about the sheer variety of life that exists on our planet. The book also highlighted the complex social structures and behaviors of many animal species. For example, the way elephants care for their young and mourn their dead, or theintricate communication and cooperation within a pack of wolves. These examples really made me appreciate the depth of emotions and intelligence that animals possess.Furthermore, "Animal Kingdom" shed light on thedelicate balance of nature and the interconnectedness ofall living things. It made me realize how important it is for us as humans to respect and protect the natural world. We are not separate from the animal kingdom, but rather a part of it, and it's crucial for us to coexist harmoniously with other species. In conclusion, "Animal Kingdom" has given me a newfound appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the animal world. It has also deepened my understanding of the importance of conservation and the need to preserve the natural habitats of all creatures, big and small.中文:读完《动物王国》,我深受动物世界的丰富多样所感动。

初中七年级下册英语作文第二单元全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 2 - The Animal KingdomHey guys! It's me again, your pal who loves to learn about English. This time, we're gonna talk about animals! Isn't that just the coolest topic ever? I mean, who doesn't love furry little critters and scaly reptiles? In this unit, we learned all about the different types of animals and how to describe them in English. It was so much fun! We started by learning the names of different animals like dogs, cats, birds, and even weird ones like platypuses. Can you believe those things are real? They're like a mix of a duck and a beaver. Crazy, right? Then, we learned about their body parts. I never knew there were so many words for things like ears, tails, and whiskers. Like, did you know that the things on a bird's face are called beaks? And those weird long things that elephants have are called trunks? Wild! But my favorite part was learning about animal behavior. We talked about how different animals move, like how snakes slither and birds flap their wings. We also learned some fun words like "prowl" for how big cats walk around looking for prey. Isn't that just the coolest word ever?Oh, and we can't forget about animal sounds! I had no idea that the noise a cow makes is called "moo" in English. In my language, we just call it "moo" too. But then there are weird ones like "oink" for pigs and "neigh" for horses. English is such a funny language sometimes.Of course, we also learned how to put all these words together to describe animals. Like, we could say "The black cat prowled through the alley, flicking its long tail." Or, "The majestic eagle soared high above, flapping its powerful wings." Doesn't that just paint a picture in your mind? But you know what was really cool? We got to go on a field trip to the zoo! Seeing all those animals up close and personal was just amazing. I'll never forget watching the monkeys swing from branch to branch or hearing the mighty roar of the lion. After the zoo trip, we had to write our own animal reports. I chose to write about my favorite animal, the dolphin. Did you know that dolphins are actually really smart? Like, they cancommunicate with each other using clicks and whistles. And they've even been known to help out humans in trouble at sea. How cool is that?I worked so hard on my report, using all the words and phrases we learned in class. I described the dolphin's sleek body and how it glides through the water. I talked about its playful behavior, like jumping out of the waves and doing flips. And of course, I mentioned its famous "smile" that makes it look like it's always happy. When I presented my report to the class, they all loved it! My teacher even said it was one of the best ones she'd ever heard from a student my age. I was just beaming with pride, let me tell you. This unit on animals was definitely one of my favorites so far. Not only did I learn a ton of new English words, but I also got to explore the amazing world of wildlife. Who knew studying could be so much fun?I can't wait to see what other cool topics we'll cover in English class. Maybe we'll learn about different countries and cultures next? Or perhaps we'll dive into the world of science and technology? No matter what it is, you can bet I'll be ready to soak up all that knowledge like a sponge.Well, that's all for now, folks! This little storyteller has got to run. But I'll be back again soon with more tales from my English learning adventures. Until next time, keep on studying hard and having fun! Peace out!篇2Grade 7 English Chapter 2 EssayHey guys! For this essay, I'm gonna tell you all about my life and what it's like being a 7th grader. Being in middle school is such a trip! There's so much fun stuff happening but also a lot of hard work too. I'll give you the full scoop on everything.First up, my daily routine. I get up pretty early around 6:30 AM since school starts at 8 AM. I hate waking up that early, but gotta do what you gotta do, you know? I get dressed, brush my teeth, all that jazz. Then I have a quick breakfast, usually some cereal or a Pop-Tart if I'm running late. The bus picks me up at 7:15 and it's about a 25 minute ride to school. I listen to music on the bus to pass the time. Once I get to school, I go to my locker and get my books for my morning classes. The first class is English at 8 AM. English is one of my better subjects since I'm a good writer. We're reading this reallycool book right now about kids getting lost in the Amazon rainforest! After English, I have pre-algebra at 9 AM. Math is...not my favorite. I'm not a mathematic genius if you know what I mean! I just try my best and study a lot. Next up is history at 10. I actually really like history because I find ancient civilizations fascinating. My favorite is learning about ancient Egypt and the pharaohs. At 11 is my lunch period and I'm always starving by then! The school lunch isn't amazing but it's okay I guess. I'll typically get the pizza or a chicken sandwich. My friends and I sit together and gossip about everything that's going on. Who's dating who, drama with teachers, the latest TikTok trends, you name it!In the afternoon I have science at 12:15. Science rocks because we get to do experiments which makes it way more fun than just reading from a textbook. We've been learning about chemical reactions recently and made a little volcano erupt from baking soda and vinegar. After that is Spanish at 1:30. Learning a new language is hard but también muy interesante. Finally, I have gym at 2:30 which is a nice way to end the day. I'm not a stellar athlete or anything but I like being active and having gym every day. We usually just play games and sports like basketball, soccer, or tennis. Gets those steps in, you know? The school day ends at 3:15 and either I go to baseball practice or my mom picks me up. Baseball practice is a few times a week for a couple hours. I'm not gonna make it pro or anything but it's fun to play! When I get home, I'll have a snack and start on my homework for a few hours. For dinner we'll typically have something semi-healthy that my mom cooks like baked chicken with veggies or whole wheat pasta. After dinner I have some free time before bed so I'll watch some YouTube, play video games, or message with friends. I try to get to bed by 10 PM to get enough sleep before the morning routine starts all over again! The weekends are a nice break from that grind. I'll spend time with friends, maybe go to a movie or the mall. Sleepovers are awesome sauce. I also have to spend some time studying and getting ahead on homework unfortunately. Maybe if I'm lucky my parents will take us out for a fun family dinner!Overall though, 7th grade is a blast! The school work is definitely challenging and keeps me busy. But there's so much excitement too with sports, friends, school events and dances. I'm making so many incredible memories during this time. I'm really coming into my own and becoming my true self, which is amazing.I guess that's the life of a modern 7th grade kid! It's a lot to juggle between academics, socializing, extracurriculars, and just dealing with growning up. But I'm loving every minute of this crazy roller coaster ride. Hoping 8th grade will be just as epic! Let me know if you have any other burning questions about middle school. Catch you on the flip side!篇3Unit 2 - Caring for the EnvironmentHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about caring for the environment. It's a super important topic that we all need to learn about. The environment is the world around us - the air, the water, the land, the plants and the animals. We all share this one planet Earth, so we have to take really good care of it!First up, let me tell you about pollution. Pollution is when things get dirty or yucky and it's not good for the environment. There are different kinds of pollution like air pollution from cars and factories, water pollution from trash and chemicals going into rivers and oceans, and land pollution from litter and garbage piling up. Pollution is really bad because it can make animals and plants sick or even die. It can also make people sicktoo if the air is super smoggy or the water is too dirty to drink safely. We have to try our best to reduce pollution as much as we can. One way is by recycling stuff instead of just throwing it in the trash. You can recycle things like plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, cardboard and glass. It's awesome because those materials get reused to make new things instead of ending up in a landfill or the ocean. At school, we have special recycling bins to collect recyclables. At home, check if your town has a recycling program you can use.Another way to help is by reducing waste overall. That means trying not to use tons of plastic and paper that will just get thrown out. You can bring a reusable water bottle instead of buying new plastic bottles. You can use a lunchbox instead of zipping food in plastic baggies. Every little bit helps cut down on the trash we create. We should also save energy as much as possible because a lot of energy still comes from burning coal and oil which pollutes the air. Turn off lights when you leave a room. Unplug electronics when not using them. And we can save water too by taking shorter showers and not letting the faucet run when brushing teeth.Plants and trees are really important for a healthy environment. They make oxygen for us to breathe and absorb carbon dioxide, which is a gas that contributes to climate change and global warming. Having more plants around also provides habitats for animals to live. We can help by planting trees, flowers or gardens and taking care of them. Let's not litter or damage plants either.Speaking of animals, we need to protect them too as part of the environment. Animals are losing their homes in forests and oceans due to pollution, littering and development for housing and businesses. Many animals are going extinct, which means there won't be any of that species left at all. That's so sad! We should learn about endangered species and what we can do to protect their habitats.Climate change from global warming is a huge threat to the whole planet. The Earth is gradually getting hotter due to high levels of gases like carbon dioxide being released into the air. This is causing major issues like rising sea levels that flood coastal areas, more extreme weather events like hurricanes and droughts, and disruptions to agriculture and our food supplies. We all need to do our part to lower our "carbon footprint" and not burn as many fossil fuels that release those gases.I know this is a lot to think about, but the environment is really important for all life on Earth. It's our shared home that we need to take care of. Every small action helps, whether it's recycling, saving energy, conserving water, or protecting plants and animals. We're all in this together as the new generation growing up. Let's work hard to keep our planet clean and healthy for many years to come! What are some other ideas you have for caring for the environment? I'd love to hear them. Thanks for listening, friends!篇4Unit 2: My Dream CareerWhat do I want to be when I grow up? That's a really hard question! There are so many cool jobs out there. I've thought about being a doctor because they help people feel better when they are sick. But I don't really like the sight of blood or needles, so maybe not.I've also thought about being a teacher because I like kids and I like learning new things. Teachers get to read lots of books and do fun activities all day. The summer vacations would be awesome too! But then I think about how rowdy my class can get sometimes and I'm not sure I'd have the patience. For a little while, I really wanted to be a chef and own my own restaurant. I love cooking shows and experimenting with new recipes. I make a mean grilled cheese sandwich! But then I realized how much math is involved with measuring ingredients and figuring out portions. Not my strong suit. There was a phase where I desperately wanted to be a professional athlete - maybe a soccer player or a gymnast. I practiced cartwheels and back handsprings in the living room for hours. Mom wasn't too happy about that... In the end, I don't think I'm quite coordinated enough for the big leagues.A job I've seriously considered is being a writer or journalist.I love dreaming up creative stories and poems. And I'm a pretty good writer if I do say so myself! My teachers are always complimenting my ideas and my flair for descriptive language. Maybe I could be the next J.K. Rowling! But you know what? After giving it a lot of thought, I think I'd most like to be a video game designer when I grow up. I'm obsessed with games like Minecraft and Roblox. I'm always building new worlds and coming up with creative mods. My friends think I'm a genius coder (well, for a 7th grader at least!).Can you imagine how cool it would be to actually design video games for a living? I could create exciting quests andbackstories. I'd make the graphics totally rad with realistic animations and awesome physics engines. Of course, there would need to be crazy good cheat codes for me to use!I get so lost in my own video game fantasies, dreaming up characters and plotlines. I'll be zoning out in math class, doodling new creatures in my notebook instead of taking notes. Video games combine so many of my interests - technology, coding, storytelling, art, and magic! It's the perfect creative outlet. My parents are always saying I should "broaden my horizons" and consider more practical careers. Like coding cybersecurity software or data analytics. Boring! That doesn't sound anywhere near as fun篇5Unit 2: Exploring New PlacesWow, we just started the second unit in my English textbook and it's all about exploring new places! I'm so excited to learn about different cultures and travel to cool destinations, even if it's just through the pages of our book for now.Our first lesson was on giving directions and getting around a new city. We learned phrases like "Take a left at the intersection" and "The museum is down the block, next to the library." Giving directions is kinda tricky with all the turns and landmarks to remember. But it will be super useful if I ever get to travel somewhere new and get lost! Then we read this really interesting article about a family who went on a trip to Egypt. They saw the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx up close! I had seen pictures before in books, but reading the firsthand details about how massive the pyramids are and all the history behind them made me feel like I was actually there. The family also went inside some dark, narrow tombs which sounds both scary and fascinating. I don't know if I'd be brave enough! My favorite part was learning about hieroglyphics, the ancient Egyptian writing system with all those cool picture symbols. We practiced translating some simple words and phrases. It felt like cracking a secret code! I could barely recognize half the hieroglyphs, but it was fun trying to decipher them. Maybe I'll become an archaeologist when I grow up and get to study real artifacts. We also learned about being a tourist and visiting attractions in a respectful way. You have to be considerate of the local customs and not do things that might accidentally offend people. Like in many Middle Eastern countries, you're supposed to take off your shoes before entering mosques and other holy sites. We did a role play where we pretended to visit Angkor Wat, those amazing temples in Cambodia. One person was the rude tourist who ignored all the rules, while the rest of us played well-behaved visitors. It was pretty funny, but also a good lesson on cultural sensitivity. For the next few lessons, we're moving on to a new country - Brazil! I'm looking forward to learning about the food, music, cool places to see, and maybe some Portuguese篇6Unit 2 - Making a DifferenceHi there! It's me again, your friendly neighborhood elementary school kid. Today I want to tell you all about Unit 2 in my big brother's 7th grade English book. It's called "Making a Difference" and it's all about how kids like us can change the world for the better. Pretty cool, right? The first thing we learned about was volunteers. You know what volunteers are, right? They're awesome people who help others without getting paid. In the book, there were stories about kids volunteering at animal shelters, parks, libraries, you name it! My favorite was the story of Jayden. He's this12-year-old boy who started his own charity called "Toys for Paws" to collect used toys and donate them to animals waiting to be adopted. Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever? It made me want to start my own volunteer project too! Then we learned about some famous kids who made a huge difference in the world. There was Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who fought for girls' education and even won the Nobel Peace Prize. And Greta Thunberg, the Swedish teenager leading the fight against climate change. Reading their stories gave me goosebumps – they were so brave and determined, even when facing big challenges. It just goes to show that you're never too young to stand up for what's right. But you don't have to be world-famous to make a difference, the book said. Even small acts of kindness in our daily lives can brighten someone's day. Like smiling at a stranger, helping your parents with chores, or sticking up for a friend being bullied. We brainstormed loads of ideas for easy ways to spread kindnessand cheer at school and in our neighborhood. My personal favorite: launching a neighborhood "jokes of the day" newsletter to make people laugh!Of course, one of the best ways to make a difference is by taking care of our planet. The book taught us all about recycling, saving energy, and reducing waste. Did you know that each year, people throw away enough paper to build a 12-foot high wall stretching from Los Angeles to New York City? That's crazy! So we came up with plans to make our school more eco-friendly, like starting a recycling program and "waste-free" lunchdays. We even had a cool debate about the pros and cons of banning single-use plastics. (I was firmly on team "Ban That Plastic" in case you were wondering.)Another thing the book talked about was helping others in need – like kids in other countries who don't have access to education, healthcare, clean water and other basics we might take for granted. It broke my heart learning about the challenges they face every single day. But it also inspired me to find ways I could help, even from far away. Like raising money through bake sales or clothing drives. Or using my birthday celebration as a chance for friends and family to donate to good causes, instead of getting me toys and gadgets I don't really need.Throughout the whole unit, we read tons of amazing stories of regular kids our age doing extraordinary things. Like Carter Ries, who collected over 10,000 stuffed animals to donate to kids going through hard times. Or Ian McKenzie, the teenage founder of an educational program that builds school libraries in developing countries. Or Mikaila Ulmer, who started her own lemonade business when she was just 4 years old – and now uses part of the profits to help save honeybees! Reading their stories was so motivating. If they could dream up ways to help others and work hard to make those dreams a reality, why couldn't I?That's basically what the unit was all about – inspiring us kids to dream big and use our energy, our compassion and our creativity to change the world, one step at a time. By the time we finished the unit, our classroom was buzzing with ideas for service projects, fundraisers and community initiatives we wanted to try. We made vision boards covered with images of the causes we cared about most, and set goals for how we could start making a positive impact right here in our own neighborhood. We even signed a "Making a Difference" pledge, promising to be frequent volunteers, limit our waste, and always look for opportunities to be kind and help others.I don't know about you, but after finishing this unit, I felt totally fired up to go out and start changing the world! Of course, I know I'm just a kid and there's only so much I can do right now. But the way I see it, even small actions can make a big difference when a lot of people chip in. Whether it's recycling my water bottles, standing up to bullies, collecting cans for a food drive or just smiling at strangers, those little things can add up to create a kinder, greener, more just world for everyone. So that's unit 2 in a nutshell – a super inspiring andeye-opening look at all the ways kids can make the world better through volunteering, activism, kindness, protecting the environment and helping those in need. I can't wait to take what I learned and start putting it into practice in my own life. Who's with me? Let's go out and change the world, you guys!。
