第一课时教学设计
一、教学重点:
第一、二单元主要语言的巩固和拓展。
二、教学难点:
Let’s find out部分,学生能根据提示语言在地图上确认并书写相应的公共场所。
三、课前准备:
1.资源中心的相关课件。
2.Let’s read(1)部分的录音。
3.教材P39的插图挂图。
4.单词卡片:pet shop, ice-skating area, hospital, restaurant, ice-cream cart, post office, bus
stop, north gate, south gate, east gate, west gate。
四、教学过程:
1、Warm up (热身)
活动一说唱活动
教学参考时间:3-5分钟
(1)教师起头,全班一起说唱第一、二单元的歌谣。
(2)教师播放P43歌曲《How can I get to the zoo?》2遍,请学生听一遍后跟着唱。(3)提问:How can you get to …? 请学生回答。
(4)呈现单词和词组,学生强读:on foot by car by bus by bike by plane by train hospital post office library bookstore cinema science museum go straight turn left turn right。
活动二自由会话
教学参考时间:3-5分钟
教师和学生进行会话交流:
(1)How do you go to school?
(2)Where is the ….? How do you go there?
(3)Is … far from here?
(4)出示教材P20 Let’s talk插图,随意指一处:We are here. How can we get to the …?
2、Presentation (新课呈现)
活动三阅读对话
教学参考时间:7-8分钟
(1)教师指着Let’s read (1)部分的插图对学生说:Amy and Chen Jie are going to the park.
How do they go there? Is the park far from here? What are they going to do? Let’s read
the dialogue.
(2)学生自己阅读对话。
(3)教师提问,学生看书回答:
i.How do they go to the park?
ii.Is the park next to the hospital?
iii.If the traffic light is red, what are you going to do?
iv.Is the pet shop at the north gate?
v.What are they going to do together?
(4)教师出示P39插图,分别指图介绍:This is the south gate and that is a north gate.(指着另外两个门)What about these two gates? 引导学生说出:east gate和west gate. (5)教师解释:A pet shop has many pets: dogs, cats, birds, fish … Y ou can ice-skate at the ice-skating area.(加动作)引导学生理解pet shop和ice skating area的意思。
(6)教师放录音,学生跟读对话。
(7)学生两人一组分角色朗读对话。
活动四判断句子
教学参考时间:3-5分钟
请学生判断下面句子是否和对话内容相符:Tick or cross
(1)Amy and Chen Jie go to the park by bike. ( )
(2)They can go straight, then turn left. ( )
(3)The park is next to the restaurant. ( )
(4)The hospital is next to the park. ( )
(5)The pet shop is at the south gate. ( )
(6)The ice-skating area is near the north gate. ( )
(7)The south gate is far from the north gate. ( )
(8)Amy and Chen Jie are going to ice-skate together. ( )
3、Let’s play (趣味操练)
活动五指方向
教学参考时间:3分钟
(1)教师请几个学生说出任意方向词:south north east west,全班同学指向相应的方向,指
错的学生被淘汰出局,看看谁是最后的胜利者。
(2)教师出示P39插图挂图,说指令:south gate, north gate, east gate, west gate,学生在图中
指出相应的位置。
活动六找场所
教学参考时间:5分钟
(1)教师指图说:Now, Amy and Chen Jie are in the park. There are some places in this park.
What are they? Read, find and write.
(2)学生分组读句子,填写场所单词,教师巡视指导。
(3)师生以对话的形式核对答案:
T:Where is the pet shop?
S:It’s at the south gate.
T:Where is the hospital?
S:It’s next to the restaurant.
T:Where is the restaurant?
S:It’s near the west gate.
T:Where is the bookstore?
S:It’s next to the ice-cream cart.
T:Where is the post office?
S:It’s out of the north gate.
