四、教材精华1. Maybe you should buy some new clothes.也许你应该买一些新衣服。
(1)本句是一个简单句,maybe是状语,should buy是由情态动词加动词原形共同组成的句子的谓语。
(2)should是情态动词,表示责任、义务或理所当然,意为“应当;应该”,后接动词原形。
它也是shall的过去式。
You should study hard.你应该努力学习。
2. You could borrow some money from your brother.你可以向你的哥哥借些钱。
本句中borrow some money from your brother意为“向你哥哥借些钱”。
borrow 为动词,意为“借(入)”,常与from连用,即borrow sth from…,意为“从……借入某物”。
