三、评价商务英语函电在对外贸易中的作用商务英语函电已经是对外贸易中的重要组成部分,主要为贸易双方的沟通交流搭建桥梁、准确而具体地传送双方的各类相关信息;它起着沟通买卖双方的媒介作用并涉及到对外贸易的各个环节。
商务英语函电在对外贸易中有促进、辅助的作用。
促使对外贸易全球化、促进对外贸易的增长、提高工作效率并降低成本、还能使企业及时与客户沟通信息和获得新客户等。
我们见证了商务英语函电的逐步发展,从信函、电报、电传到传真、电子邮件的发展过程;它越来越完善,既方便快捷又便宜;但是现代商务函电依然存在一些安全因素,从而造成一些负面的影响和作用。
在使用电子邮件时,可能会有“黑客”利用自己掌握的电脑系统,到未经授权的情况下访问计算机文件或网络、窃取他人的机密数据资料;在传输信息中被中断或存在一些潜在的软件缺陷和安全疏忽,还有计算机病毒会破坏系统文件资料;因而在使用网络传输信息(如电子邮件)时要多关注安全问题,可以设定密码来保护客户信息或机密资料。
在信息技术迅速发展的同时应善于发现它可能存在的安全因素并尽可能地完善它。
四、展望商务英语函电在对外贸易中还有很大的发展空间;相信
只要通过全球人民的共同努力,商务英语函电的发展必定会比现今的电子邮件传输速度还快几倍,并且安全系数也会相应加大。
相信在不久的将来商务英语函电会被全球的大小企业甚至个人广泛使用,并真正实现信息全球化,商务英语函电将会成为对外贸易中不可或缺的一部分。
