课堂激励评价,培养学生学习英语一、课题的提出英语课堂的主要目标时培养学习用英语进行交际的能力。
要想让学生真正掌握一门外语,我们的教师应该通过课堂上充分开展英语活动,并作出相应的激励性评价,使学生能巩固兴趣,并把英语知识学以致用。
二、课题的研究目标(一)能自觉预习复习,能做好每次的作业和检测,形成浓厚的学习兴趣,养成良好的学习习惯,并逐步培养自己学习能力。
能把所学语言知识运用于现实生活。
(二)帮助学生有效控制自己的学习过程,使他们获得成就感,增强自信心,培养合作精神,提高学生对学习的自我控制能力,提高学习效率。
(三)使教师获得英语教学反馈信息,对自己的教学行为进行反思和适当的调整,促使教师不断提高教育教学水平。
三、本课题研究的主要原则和具体做法(一)遵循以下原则:学习与习得相结合原则。
“习得”制学生在非教学条件下主动获得的过程,“学习”指人在习得后,有意识地在教学环境里学得第二语言的过程。
在英语教学中,强调学习习惯的养成,学习能力的培养。
语言学习与文化生活相结合原则。
语言与文化有着十分密切的关系。
语言是文化的载体,它传达着一个民族的文化内涵。
在英语教学中,教师既要教英语语言知识,又要教给学生必要的英美国家的文化背景知识,让学生既学习语言,又了解目的语的文化背景及其内涵意义。
培养兴趣与发展自我意识相结合原则。
兴趣指探究事物或进行某种活动的积极倾向。
在英语教学中,多给学生一些鼓励,少一些批评,帮助学生发展和行动的方式,形成英语语言的自我意识。
营造浓厚的英语学习氛围。
(二)具体的做法:1、课前激励评价,激发学习英语的热情.(每节预备钟响后2-3分钟)为了充分利用课前准备时间,使学生快速进入英语学习状态,我组织了“show time”和“let’s show”。
“show time”,旨在训练学生关于日常交际用语的问答,每周开展一两个话题。
“let’s show”,旨在培养每个孩子说英语的自信心和成就感。

2.教师评价语言笼统或太委婉含蓄,没有针对性就我自己而言,在课堂上的评价语言太笼统,每节课大都是“good”“very well”或者“clever”“excellent”……课堂表面非常热闹,但实质学生的兴趣并不高。
课堂评价以鼓励为主体现了英语教学给学生以人文关注,但是当学生回答完问题后,教师不管题目难或易,一概以脱口而出的“good”“ very well”进行笼统的随意性评价,这样,不仅不能对学生产生积极的促动,反而会对学生价值观的健康形成产生负面影响。
3.教师的评价语言单一,有的评价语言直接指向学生缺点,缺乏肯定,激励课堂教学中教师的激励性评价语言既具有导向作用又有很好的激励作用,教师面向的是接受知识和被教育的学生,尤其是小学阶段,小学生的爱好和心理素质都很不成熟,教师的激励性评价语言能够极大地影响课堂教学效果,影响学生对所学课程的喜欢与否,对于塑造学生健全的人格有着不可低估的意义。
