Period 1
Step1. Greeting and warm up.
Greeting the class as usual.
1.Do the actions .Touch and say . I do you say. Sam says game. –
2.Read the poem together.
Step2. Review.
1.Asks some questions, Ss together to answer it one by one ..
2. Numbers--how many fingers ? T Shows the fingers S says the number
3.Animals--look and listen. T acts ,Ss say it together . S acts and says. T says ,Ss act and say.
s--who is she ? T asks a S to stand ,then asks Ss. A S can introduce “This is…This is …and I am …”
5.Body parts--point and say. T shows a model “Look, I have a big mouth.” A S can say “I have a small nose.”
6.T shows some pictures and Ss say the words ,who is the first who can sit .
7T asks Ss to act the dialogues two by two ,clap for them if they can do it well.
Step3. Presentation. -- 20-40min
Words :: wild animal hippo elephant lion zebra snake monkey
Show Ss the animals pictures. T asks “What is it?”Ss answer this question with “It ’ s a /an-------.”
(words games :1 Where are you ? 2Matching the letters. 3.Passing on a words. 4.Touch
and guess.5. High and low voice.6. Check it one by one.) Sentences:What’s this ? It’s a /an -------------.
Follow me. Finger game. Dragon game.
Review the two words. Point and say.
Show Ss thepicture --“What’s this?”-- “It’s a hippo.”
