An African chieftain flew to the United States to visit the president. When he arrived at the airport, a host of newsmen and television cameramen met him. One of the reporters asked the chief if he had a comfortable flight.
有名非洲酋长搭飞机到美国拜访总统。他一抵达机场，就被一群新闻记者和电视摄影

The chief made a series of weird noises..."Screech, scratch, honk, buzz, whistle, Z-Z-Z-Z" and then added in perfect English, "Yes, I had a very nice flight."

Another reporter asked, "Chief, do you plan to visit the Washington Monument while you're in the areas."
另一位记者问道：“酋长，到这里来有打算参观华盛顿纪念碑吗?”
The chief made the same noises..."Screech, scratch, honk, buzz, whistle,
Z-Z-Z-Z" and then said, "Yes, and I also plan to visit the White House and the Capital Building."
酋长又发出同样“叽、刮、轰、叭、嘻吼、滋-滋-滋-滋”的怪声，然后说：“是的，我也打算参观白宫和国会大厦。”
"Where did you learn to speak such flawless English?" asked the next reporter.
“你一口完美无暇的英语是在哪里学的啊?”下一个记者问道。
The chief replied, "Screech, scratch, honk, buzz, whistle, Z-Z-Z-Z... from the short-wave radio."
酋长回答：“叽、刮、轰、叭、嘻吼、滋-滋-滋-滋...是从短波无线电台学来的。”
While painting a model at one of the art studios, theartist was suddenly very attracted to her. He wantedto kiss her.
画家在某间画室替一名模特儿作画时，突然被模特儿深深吸引住，很想一亲芳泽。
When he could stand it no longer, he threw down hispalette, took her in
his arms and kissed her.
最后他受不了了，便扔下调色板，把她抱在怀里亲吻了她。
She pushed him away and said, "How dare you?

Who do you think you are? Do you kiss all the models that pose for you?"

"I've never tried to kiss a model before," he swore.

"Really," she remarked, softening. "How many models have there been?"

"Four," he replied. "An orange, two apples and a vase."

After a long day of fishing, all the fisherman hadcaught was one small, red salmon. He was about tokill it when the salmon shouted, "Wait, I'm much toosmall!"
渔夫钓了一整天的鱼，只钓到一只小小的红色鲑鱼。他准备杀鱼时，鲑鱼竟然大叫：“等一下，我还太小啦!”
"Wow, you can talk," the fisherman exclaimed, "What's your name?"
“哇，你会说话呀，”渔夫惊叫道：“你叫什么名字?”
"Rusty," replied the salmon.
“洛斯蒂，”鲑鱼回答。
"Please throw me back into the sea!" The fisherman, not wanting to kill the talking salmon,threw it back into the water.
“请把我丢回海里!”渔夫不想杀一条会说话的鱼，便把它丢回水里。
One year later, the man was fishing the same spot when he again caught Rusty!
一年后，这名渔夫在同一个地方钓鱼，竟又钓到洛斯蒂!
