下面,我从课标、教材、教法、学法、教学过程、板书五方面对本课的设计进行说明。
一、说课标义务教育阶段英语课程的主要目的是为学生发展综合语言运用能力打基础,为他们继续学习英语和发展创造有利条件。
其基本理念要面向全体学生,关注语言学习者的不同特点和个体差异,要充分考虑语言学习的的渐进性和持续性的特点。
让所有学生都能通过英语学习,形成初步的综合语言运用能力。
根据课标分级目标的要求:七年级学生能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段,能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。
二、说教材1、本节课的地位及作用。
基于《新课程标准》课程基本理念强调要充分考虑语言学习的的渐进性和持续性的要求,在学生学过了八个单元的新目标英语,对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解,具备一定的听、说、读、写能力的基础上,第九单元以“School subjects”为话题,贴近学生的日常生活,十分符合学生实际。
七年级的学生开始学习各种科目:语文、数学、英语、生物、历史、地理、美术、音乐等。
他们也一定会有自己喜欢的科目,有自己的学习计划。
通过讨论学习,能够提高他们的学习兴趣,让他们进行合理的学习安排。
本节课主要通过听、说活动让学生掌握各学科的英文表达法和怎样用英语询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,为后面几节课继续讨论这些学科的科任老师和上课时间奠定坚实的基础。
2、教学目标。
根据新目标英语对语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的相应要求,强调英语教育要面向全体学生的全面发展,强调语言学习中学生创新能力的培养,促进学生健康人格全面发展的理念,结合本节课的内容和学生的现状将教学目标设定为:(1)知识目标:掌握以下词汇,要求学生能熟练运用。
subject , P.E. ,art,science,music,math, Chinese,geography,history(2)能力目标:要求学生熟练运用以下句型来谈论和表达喜好,并陈述理由。
-What’s your favorite subject? -My favorite subject is math。
-Why do you like it? -Because it’s interesting.(3)情感目标:培养学生对英语的兴趣,帮助学生建立学习的成就感和自信心,并且尽力学好所有学科,做到不偏科。
(4)学习策略目标:积极参与,善于合作,努力抓住用英语交流的机会。
(5)文化意识目标:3、教学重难点根据本节课在教材中所处的地位和作用及学生的现状确定本节课的重难点:重点:教学目标规定的词汇和句型,能脱口说出各种学科的英文名称,难点:能熟练应用所学句型询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的学科和理由。
三、说教法为了更好地突出重点,突破难点,本节课我以任务型教学法为主,以启发式,探究式,合作式教学方法为主线,辅以游戏教学法。
1、任务型教学法为主:以任务为中心的教学思路是新课程标准所倡导的基本理念。
本节课,把学生的注意力集中在怎样利用英语作为交流的工具来完成各种说和听的任务,以学生为主体,以任务为中心,以活动为方式,通过各种方式谈论自己喜欢的科目和理由,实现学生用英语进行交际的目的。
2、游戏教学法:新课标倡导“玩中学,学中玩”的理念很受学生欢迎,把枯燥乏味的英语单词的学习,变成快速闪现图片,说出单词及拼写的记忆力挑战游戏,学生喜闻乐见,加之初中生争强好胜的性格特征,参与的积极性高,学习效果自然也好,可以有效地突破本节课的单词关。
3、以启发式,探究式,合作式教学方法为主线,让学生通过"观察—模仿—实践"的方法学会本课的中心内容,展开以学生为中心的师生对话,生生对话,小组交流等活动,真正体现新课程以学生为主体的的理念。
首先以谈论自己最喜欢的水果这一话题启发学生如何用英语谈论自己最喜欢的科目,通过仔细观察老师如何谈论,进而模仿,和搭档一起实践,在组内进行交流,真正实现语言的交际功能,突破本节课的难点。
四、说学法《新课程标准》指出,学生是学习的主体,英语课必须根据学生身心发展和英语学习的特点,关注学生的个体差异和不同的学习需求,爱护学生的好奇心,求知欲,充分激发学生的主动意识和进取精神,倡导自主,合作、探究的学习方法。
本课针对初一学生求知欲强,个体具有很大可塑性的特点设计学习方法:在预习的基础上,以自学互学——比学评学——小组合作为主,教师发现问题,及时点拨为辅,真正体现学生为主体,教师为主导的课标理念。
在学习了音标和课前预习的基础上,自己拼读音标,掌握单词的读音。
这一环节,有些基础稍差的同学在拼读过程中可能有困难,原因有两方面:学习音标的过程中不是所有人都能掌握学会所有的音素,音节的划分还有拼读规律,就像整个英语水平参差不齐一样,拼读能力也有高有低;另一方面本节课拓展了一个新词biology,生物,课前学生没有接触过,可能会多花点时间。
对于不会拼读的单词,可以向同桌或周围的同学请教。
考虑到学生各科学习水平的差异,在编排座位时,我已经做了充分考虑和调整,每组都有擅长英语的同学,可以帮助其他同学解决学习中遇到的困难,在后面的句型操练过程中也鼓励学生互相帮助,相互合作,努力完成本节课的学习任务。
五、说教学过程及设计思路《基础教育课程改革纲要(试行)》在论及基础教育课程改革的具体目标时指出:“改变课程实施过于强调接受学习、死记硬背、机械的现状,倡导学生主动参与、乐于探究、勤于动手,培养学生搜集和处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及交流与合作的能力。
”基于此,我本着突出学生为主体,教师为主导的思想,设计本节课内容。
一、导入创设情境,大屏幕出示各种水果。

第六单元学过有关水果的单词,学生较熟悉,通过谈论最喜欢的水果,举一反三,很容易掌握怎样表达最喜欢的科目。
紧接着出示教学目标,激起学生的求知欲望。

(设计意图:新课标倡导“授人以鱼不如授人以渔”的思想,本着教会学生学习,而不仅仅教会学生知识的目的,在已经学习了音标和课前预习的基础上,让学生自己拼读,不会的互相请教,自学互学单词。
在自学之后,进行比学评学,看谁读得最好,以只出现汉语,让学生读出英语单词并拼写得方式进行。
再利用记忆挑战,和Pairwork强化学生的单词记忆和句型的初步练习,为进一步学习奠定基础。
